Four Steps

1 · Consultation

Tell us the model, your prescription (or sun-lens choice), and any custom details. We confirm measurements and quote your lenses.

See it before it's carved — AI-assisted design concepts

Have an idea but can't picture it? Send your inspiration — a sketch, a photo, a shape you love — and we'll turn it into concept renderings of your frame before carving begins: angles, brow shapes, materials, the works. You pick the direction you love, and then it's all handwork from there. The renderings are a preview, not a promise — the grain, and the hand, will make yours different from any picture. Any photo you send is used only for your commission, never shared.

2 · Commission

A 50% deposit secures your place in the build queue. Your frame enters the shop schedule.

Pricing is quoted by design, after the design conversation — it depends on material and complexity.

3 · We carve & build

Your frame is cut, shaped, and fitted by hand; your lenses are cut and mounted by our optical lab partner, B&D Optical; then the frame gets its final hand polish and inspection.

4 · Delivery

Carefully packed and shipped, ready to wear.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does it take?

6–8 weeks from commission to delivery.

Will my frame look exactly like the photo?

Close, never identical — the model is the design, but your frame is carved from a fresh piece of wood with its own grain. That is the point.

What prescriptions can you do?

[FILL IN — confirm range with B&D.]

What if the fit isn’t right?

[FILL IN — adjustment/return policy.]

How do I care for wood frames?

Keep them dry, don’t leave them in a hot car, and [care instructions]. A little [oil/wax] now and then keeps the wood happy.

Are the frames really handmade?

Yes — cut, shaped, and fitted by hand, one at a time.
